This project website has been created by Arise Renewable Energy UK Limited, company number 13569939, with its registered office at 78 York Street, London W1H 1DP, United Kingdom (“Arise”, “us” or “we”), for the purpose of providing general information about the project and our operations. Arise owns and manages the website.

2.1 Individuals Contacting Us via the ‘Have Your Say’ Form

This provides information on the processing of your data in case you have completed the ‘Have Your Say’ form on the project website.

  • Your communication to us regarding the project and any feedback you have provided, complaints, and/or Community benefit ideas included in your submitted form.
  • E-mail address (Optional and if provided to receive a response to your feedback for further communication).
  • Name, if the information is provided to us in connection with continued contact following an initial submission of feedback on the project or the provision of your email address.
  • Telephone number, if the information is provided to us in connection with continued contact following an initial submission of feedback on the project.

2.1.2 Purpose of Processing

  • To manage individual inquiries, questions, thoughts and/or comments regarding the project.
  • To provide you with relevant responses (if requested).

2.1.3 Legal Basis

Legitimate Interest – Processing is necessary to allow us to manage incoming inquiries related to the project, as well as in administering, handling, and following up on requested feedback.

2.1.4 Retention

Where you have only provided your feedback or thoughts on the project, and have not provided other personal data to request our return communication, we hold your responses while the project is or becomes operational, is sold to a third party, or permanently cancelled.

Where you have provided your email address because you would like to be contacted with further information, we retain your data for as long as necessary to manage and follow up on your inquiry, but no longer than 36 months after the last contact. After that, the data will be deleted, unless other legislation requires a longer retention period.

2.2 Suppliers Contacting Us via the ‘Have Your Say’ Form

This provides information on the processing of your data as a supplier in case you have completed the ‘Have Your Say’ form on the project website.

2.2.1 Categories of Personal Data We May Process

  • Information about your inquiry and information provided in the ‘Have Your Say’ form.
  • Services you provide.
  • E-mail address (Optional), but necessary to proceed further communication.
  • Name, if the information is provided to us in connection with continued contact following an initial inquiry via the website.

  • Facilitating communication and collaboration between companies/entrepreneurs and the project.
  • Administering and following up on potential business and entrepreneurial relationships related to the project.

2.2.3 Legal Basis

Legitimate Interest – Processing is necessary for our interest in managing incoming inquiries related to the project, as well as in administering, handling, and following up on contact regarding potential collaboration with companies, contractors, and stakeholders.

2.2.4 Retention

Where you have submitted your feedback via the ‘Have Your Say’ form but where you are not interested in engaging with us and establishing a business relationship, you data will be retained while the project is or becomes operational, is sold to a third party, or permanently cancelled, unless you request that your data is deleted earlier.

Where you have submitted your feedback via the ‘Have Your Say’ form and wish to engage with us as a supplier, your data will be retained for the duration of the project and for 36 additional months after the end of the business relationship or last communication. However, the data may be retained longer if we are bound by legal obligations to hold this data for longer.

If you are just browsing our website, we may collect your data using cookies or other tracking technology.

3.1 Third Party Service Providers

As with most organisations, we use service providers to help us deliver our services and keep your data secure. These service providers include: contractors supporting our staff, IT providers, cloud-based service providers, security service provider, email communication providers, survey management provider. In such cases, an agreement is entered into that ensures that your personal data is processed securely and in line with privacy obligations.
